The Yaxell Tsuchimon carving knife is a traditional Japanese carving knife with a modern twist. The 18 cm hammered blade enables you to cut in long, smooth strokes. Sawing movements are disastrous for nice thin slices. Because the blade is low, the slices you cut are less likely to stick to the blade.
